this may be more interesting to the honda guys, but since i hang out here 99.9% of the time i figured i'd let you guys know. i found a complete set of mint Honda playing cards i forgot i had. they are old. there is not a single four wheeler on them. but several 3-wheelers. and of course CRs and motorcycles. there is no 350x, but there is a 200x and a 250r.
the box looks all right, but there isn't a bent corner on any card. there is no date, only "Made exclusively for American Honda Motor Co. in Hong Kong. i thought you guys might like to hear about this. if there is anything i could look for on these bike and atvs that will reveal the year, let me know and we'll figure it out.

Hey Richie,
Sounds like a cool find.
The only years that the 200X and 250R were sold together WITOUT the 350X was in 1983 and 1984.
Here's the only two differences that apply to the 200X in those two years.
The 1983 had a round tubing swingarm while the 1984 had a square one.
Here's the easy way:..On the 200X emblems,...
The 1983 had the "200" in white, while the "X" was dark red.
The 1984 had the "200" in white, while the "X" was yellow.
There were no differences between the 1983 and 1984 250R models except for the "250R" decals.....but they were the same color for both years....just different script.
If we ever get to go riding again, bring them with you. I would love to look at them.

holy crap, patrick. you really earned that "user name" this time. that is really good detective work. these are '83 cards then, because the 200x has white(200) with dark red(x). i guess it's red, it's not yellow. kinda small after all. i can't see the swing arm from this side angle. i noticed there is a CR480R in this deck as well. i bet that dude would scream. i wonder the odds of finding one of those today. i guess it later became the 500. all the other three wheelers like 110s, big reds. etc. are there too. and all the dirt bikes. i just can't believe the cards are in this great shape. thanks alot patrick.
