I'm looking to get a Honda Recon ,or a Bomby Rally 200 or a Suzuki Ozark 250 for the kids 13 and 15 years old .
Does anyone have an opinion on these bikes?
THanks

How big are they? The recon is sorta small. The ozark is built on a bigger frame so its a little bigger and it looks tough. Sorry i have no clue about the Rally, well it says it smokes everything in it class.

I'm 6'5" tall and I've sat on all three. The only one I'm comfortable on is the Rally. I havn't ridden it, though, so I'm not sure of the power or ride. I'm looking at one for my wife and for buddies to ride, so I'm interested in hearing about them as well.

My son rode a Recon for 2 years, real bullet proof little quad, quick and light,I'm 5 10,185,felt fine for me.Little things I didn't like: cold blooded(almost all Hondas are,my bike and the 300ex included)drum brakes all around(but they always worked, and worked good)no oil filter, after a few years, you have to wonder where all the crud is ending up !!(an internal screen you need to take the side cover off to clean out). Great fender protection,my son really gets plastered riding the ex through the same puddles the Recon protected him from!! I have seen the Ozark, looks really nice, sat on it in the dealership, shocks seem good, can't tell you what it runs like, just sat on it. In the end, it just comes down to personal preference, The Rally is a new model, might want to wait and see how it fares in the real world for a while, but if it fits your needs, that is what you will need to decide for your self. Ride all three, and go with the one that fits your needs.(having a close dealer isn't bad, either).Just remember the age of the kids you are buying for,I don't know how big they are, but at that age, they can rapidly outgrow a smaller quad in a year or so!!!

Hey, i don't know how much this helps but i am 15 and i own a Suzuki LT-160F i use it mostly for trail riding and have to work it fairly hard to keep up with my buddies 400 explorer, 350 big bear, 250 beartracker, 250 fourtrax. What does this have to do with buying one of these quads just that i would want to get something with high ground clearance and a little more power. I know that the Ozark cleans up throughout the powerband on the fourtrax 52mph the ozark tops out at trax is in the high 40's and iv heard that the rally is about even with the ozark. Just up to you if you want the shaft or chain, auto or 5-speed, ugly or attractive.

I am new to ATV's (end of June) I got a Rally first, I loved it. It is quick, easy to operate, we did the trails at Hatfield Mccoy on it in August. We have since added a radiator protector and metal foot pegs. It is light (rolled it down there), so it doesn't hurt too bad if it lands on you!! I now have a Recon - gave the Rally to our daughter. The Recon has more torque for the big hills. I had a hard time deciding between the Ozark and the Recon. I liked the feel of the Ozark, but since I am a newbie, I liked the idea of the quad letting me know what gear I am in. I also like the shaft drive on the Recon instead of the chain on the Rally. I think you just have to try them out and decide what one fits you the best. Rally was least expensive, the Recon and Ozark were almost identical in price.
