If you are looking for a durable tire, stay away from Turf Tamers. I believe they are only a two ply tire.

P ordered a set of rear bandits from Moto Man and they were here in less than a weeks time and were a reasonable price I highly reccomend the bandits if you want a indestructible tire. The bandit is a rather heavy tire though but I dont think it would bother your EX.

A while back my brother and I got identical sets of tires within a few months of each other. He got a great deal from Rocky Mountain. BUT, had to pay shipping fees and then had to find and pay for mounting. As a minor aside, one of the front tires was the wrong one and had to be returned/replaced. From ordering to having the new tires on his quad took almost two weeks, which included a local replacement of the wrong size tire.

I went to my local tire dealer. Told him what I wanted. They can get daily deleveries from most distributors. The next day I had four new tires on my ATV. I spent $1.63 more than my brother.

Granted, I have dealt with this tire store (East Tennessee Tire - Knoxville, TN) for many years and their level of service may be the exception rather than the rule. However, in this day and age of competive retail pricing it's worth the try to go local. Just take one of those tire page ads from the ATV mags into your local tire store and see what they can do.

I ordered my Holeshots from Chapparel. If thats what your looking for, they have ITP Holeshots for $56 a tire, plus its FREE shipping since the amout was over $100.

If you want holeshots (what I would pick), I can give you the # and you tell me the size and I can give you the part #....

RockyMountain ATV rules... always great prices. Turftamers are probably not to high up on the list of durable tires... you should try Desert Dogs. They get excelent traction, slide well, and are 6-ply... they seem to be the "unknown" tire around here cause I never really hear anything about them. I have a friend that has them though and they are pretty awesome.

Take it from a Cannondale owner... Holeshots suck if you take any fast corners (like on tracks) or ride a lot of sand. They are nice tires for goin forward but they suck once you try turning. I haven't met a lot of aggressive riders that really like them, except for 2-stroke riders.
