Anybody have this set up that can testify to yoshi's statements??? I have a fully modded 686 and they told my I would lose maybe .3-.6 hp on the dyno with the quiet cap! I find that hard to believe because they said I would be at 93-95 dbls with that cap insert!

 

I've got the T.E.C. kit for my 400EX, and I didn't lose very much over the normal end cap. And it is VERY quiet. I think it dropped mine to less than the stock noise output. But, I rode past the ranger with mine at the Oregon Dunes a couple of days ago, and he didn't give me a second look...and that was with the open end-cap. It's loud, but not an offensive loud like some of the other pipes.

 

I have the TEC on my DS. the biggest quiet insert doesn't change plug color at all, and my power feels the same, but that little one costs me some ponies. I haven't had these dyno tested for actual numbers, but there has to be a loss using the smallest one. The biggest insert is plenty quiet though, I don't think I'll ever need the little one.
