Question on flipping the front wheels...
#1
Guys,
Recently I asked a question regarding mods for MX racing. Some people mentioned that I could flip my wheels around to get more spacing out of the Banshee. They said that the back is easy, but you have to change the valve stem around on the fronts.
Now I had a blaster a long time ago and a friend of mine had a Banshee. We flipped the front wheels on them without changing the valve step position at all and it seemed to work fine....would the only reason I need to change it be so I can get air in the tires easier?
Sorry if this is a stupid question....Also, I should have asked it before.
Thanks.

Brian! Where've you been...long time no see. How's everything running?
It's weird, when we did it back then we didn't have any problems (other than my friend trying to fit his newly widended "Shee" into his little garage).
Come to think of it, he had douglas rims on it so maybe the offset is different? My Blaster was okay too though, with the stock rims.
Anyway, maybe I'll take the time to do it right just incase.
Later.

Hey Josh. Still been around, just havn't posted too often lately. Still riding the Raptor... but since I am expecting my first kid this week I have been a bit less agressive with the riding. I leave the crazy stuff to my younger riding buddies. Zorro just got his shoulder operated on (dislocated too many times)... he is out of commisssion for 6 months!! (Just in time for Snowmobiling season we hope)
Plus I tried to put the Scrambler back together(back to stock)to sell her off but something just isn't right... same old same old...
What's new with you??
