I have gone through 2 so far. One was understandable....it was a pretty hard hit. But this weekend at the Wisp GNCC, i barely touched a tree going no faster than 3-4 mph....and bent one.

Im going to renforce them until there is an aftermarket replacement available. Going to weld another bar to each of them.....

now is that 34 but anyway even if you hit a tree at 3-4 mph if you hit it just right it could break it probably has a weak spot and its only mild steel it isnt indestructable

 

From what I know, the rods are Banshee so the ends may be also. If so, Ricky Stator makes an upgrade kit to convert them over to the Honda style which are heavier duty. Give him a call and see what he says.

hey john no jetski for me but i'm looking into a lt250r project bike under 1000 for a 1991 the piston has a big hole in it though gonn have to get it bored out.
