Well here it goes. I did my cam break in 2 days ago that went fine. Did all of the retorqueing and everything is cool. Now here is where I am puzzled.

Went to go riding for the first time yesterday after I got all of my motorwork done and started to ride and when I give it a little bit of gas the whole rear end shakes like no other! Only when I give it throttle. I can baby it and it won't shake.

I took the whole rear end apart the carrier axle the whole 9 yards. Everything checked out good. I rode it before I sent the motor out and it was fine so there shouldnt of been a problem but I checked anyway. Put it back to gether and jacked the rear end up off of the ground. Started her up and put her in first and let the tires spin. Then she started to rattle the whole rear end not so much when it was jacked up but it makes alot of noise and you can tell something is wrong.

The chain and sprockets look strait as can be to me and the rear end is tight and ready to go. The biggest thing is I dont know what the hell is wrong and I missed my weekend of riding. I hope that the billet trans that I had put in is the problem. But let me know what is going on with this. Thanks

Just a guess, but did you happen to loose any bushings from the swing-arm where the pivot bolts runs through? It sound like something in the swing arm to me. Did you inspect the pivot bolt itself before re-installing it? Did you have that particular swing arm in it before the engine swap? If not, maybe it came to you missing a bushing.

Those are my ideas. I really don't think it has anything to do with the motor or trans, it's definately something with the rear end chassis compenentry.

Take a look at those things and let us know.

That is the thing I ran the bike before I took the motor out with the rear end and it was fine. I didn't mess with the rear at all since the motor was gone and put back in!
