22-12.5-9 rub on a 250ex
#4
get the 20x11x9's thats all you will need for the 250ex, but by dropping the size in back you will hit the rev limiter much sooner, thats the only drawback that i have found out. now if someone will just make a new cdi box for it all her problems will be answered.

my e-sereis is thinner than a big gun and 22X11X9 rubbed. dont go with 22's that is the stock size and 20's are perfect for the 250ex. trust me you wont be disappointed. the 20's make you quicker and you dont lose that much top end. maybe 2 mph. plus being lower to the ground makes it handle 10 times better and not as tippy.

They dont make 20-11-9's for the super swamper TSL'S and i do alot of mud bogin. so i need a tall tire right.

The local honda dealer here has a manager that had a 250 that I want to say had 22x12.5x9 spider tracs on it. He went to a few poker runs with us and he never seemed to rub on his e-series. guess it depends on your weight and your pipe.

i bet they would of rubbed if he jumped it and bottomed out the shocks. unless he had offset rims or wheelspacers. are they a flat thread tire or are the balloon tires like the stockers. if those tires are balloony then I could see how. but if 22" holeshots rubbed on my exhaust I cant see it. they were fine just riding but if I bottomed out my rear shock then it rubbed on my exhuast a little. doesnt really matter. not gonna hurt anything anyways. not on mine anyways
