I would like to know if anybody has used extended a-arms on thier raptor. Which is better +2 or +3? I mostly go out to the sand dunes and I like to jump alot. I have already done a search and only read about +2 a-arms. Im looking into buying a-arms and shocks. Any info would help. Thanks

I got the TimmyBoy +2 +1 A-Arms and works pro triple rate for mine.
I felt a huge difference. I would have gone with the +3's but
couldn't for certain reasons.

IMHO, go for the +3's if ya can. but, i don't know what the
down side to that would be, if any.

My $0.02

My friend has a raptor with plus three lone star long travel a arms and that thing handles great Almost made me want to give up my R for one. He also had tcs shocks all around to soak up the jumps.

I went with the +2 +1 Timmyboys. I didn't have to change the brake lines, handles much better, and i only weigh 135lbs so i kept the stock shocks. they never have bottemed out on me and seem to have alot more travel

I would go with +2 a-arm, wouldn't use the 3" a-arm since I have one. The bike set up for desert racing condition with the 3" a-arm and work great. On the down side out on the dune when want to turn like 180. It tend to skip across the sand and it doesn't bite the sand while making the tight turn. I have to push the weigh on the front end to get the tires to bite the sand.

That the only downside of the a-arm of having 3" out on the dune.

Hello,
I have a pair of +3 LoneStar a-arms I am going to sell as I am selling my Raptor. I bought them last year. I have only rode the Raptor twice this year ( just in the back yard in town). No place to ride it as the last time I went down the street the police did not like it. I gave over $700.00 for them and I would ship them for $500.00 shipping included as long as you do not live to far from Arkansas. Let me know. They are in excellent condition and come with the tie rods of course. Email at n5hty@centurytel.net
