I don't know how the Edelbrock works on the Raptor, but I do know it works very well on my husbands XR650R and my brothers XR250R and I've talked to a bunch of other XR riders using them who like it a lot along with a few TRX400EX owners and one Warrior owner who thought it was great. It's been simple to tune and we ride from about 2,500 feet to over 7,000 feet without ever having to make any tuning changes. I am told Barnums Pro Products has already sold some of the Raptor Edelbrock kits. Here's their link.

The kid across the street from me has a Raptor and he's been thinking about buying the Edelbrock carb kit too, but I think he may end up going all the way and splurging for Trinity's 727 kit. I just hope he gets tired of it soon and dumps it cheap so I can buy it

I was mistaken in that Barnums Pro Products has not sold any of these products yet because I just got off the phone with them to ask them some questions. They told me the Edelbrock Raptor kits would not be available until the end of July or possibly even mid August, but that they were going to be selling these kits for $599 each with free installation at their shop to the first 20 people who buy them before July 26th. Now all I need is for my neighbor to buy it, ride it a few times and sell his Raptor to me real cheap. This kid is always getting new stuff and many times gets board of it quickly and sells the stuff cheap (RC Cars, RC airplanes, etc). He's a good neighbor to have as we've got some nice Aria helmets for our kids through him because he wanted them in different colors.

risner151 you will love the Edelbrock. I have the only one for the DS650 and I pick up more power through out the RPM range. You will have faster throttle response and it is very easy to adjust. The FCR might be better for drag racing but if you due any tail riding the Edelbrock will give you better performance.
