Ok I am rebuilding my quad, actualy im building a new one. Starting with nothing, I know just about everything that is to go into the thing. Except the decision to put a standard link, a cr500 based linkage, or the no link swingarms. So for those who have had experience, with these in the past your input will be appreciated. I have only used standard link that is on my 86 250r, i plan to keep the same lenght on the swingarm. Also it will receve custom axis shocks all around, it will be used xc, mountains, enduro with some track use(not much track). My motor of choice is a new 250 or the 450 four stroke, if this has an affect on the decision.

thanks

I am doing a no link with axis. I will have it together by about the middle of august. If for no other reason the no link would give you a little more ground clearance and one less thing to get hung up on when you are log hoppin. If you are building it to race XC check what the top riders are using. In MX most of the top riders use either the CR500 or no link.

Somewhere I heard that the CR 500 link was better for MX than no-link.
