Florida rider beware

I just go poped on this today and didn't even know about it. The cop wanted to arrest me. It seams as though there is a new law regarding atv needing to be registered in the state of Florida as of 7/01/2002.

The cop how stoped me told me they are illegal to ride because they are too dangerous and set everything on fire (brush). Can you believe this. I am called that police dept tomorrow to get their angle.

I understand the registration is to be used new riding areas to be proposed on 1/30/2003 and will be open by 2005. In the mean time I think they want us to pay for nothing. The closest riding area (legal) is 300 hundered miles away! Why should I have to pay registration for something that might happen 2 years from now, while in the mean time I am being threatened with arrest if I ride my machine ANYWHERE in south florida.

 

is that place croom cause thats the only place i can think of i kno all the police where i ride and one of them lets me ride with his son on the roads so it aint that bad but some of the cops at my friends house have been tryin to arrest us with the same things there are alot of rues going on with atvsin florida and its starting to **** me off

 

Yeah, it's getting bad, I'm starting to think about selling my machine, no use in having it.
