The rear resevoir will have the "Ohlins" logo on it and if you look on the front shock springs, you will see the logo on them as well (if they're Ohlins... I don't know if it will have the "Arvin" logo on the other shocks). If you are looking at a new one, I SERIOUSLY doubt they will have Ohlins on them. I got Ohlins on mine but I bought it in December.

The only thing that I noticed different is it has a site glass on the transmission. It will also be the last of the cannibal olins shock, the 03's will be fox. In my opion for mx'ers it would be wise to buy an le the fox shock is not as good for mx, it's more for trail riders.

All the engines should have the tranny window. Cannondale's supplier of the windows ran out, and Cannondale still wanted to produce the engines. The allen wrench drain hole is temporary. Cannondale should be sending the dealers the windows, to install into the engines with the allen bolt setup.

I would go for the speed. Only because of the shocks. To answer your other questions, yes, and yes. The only thing that would change the difference in speed would be if you changed the gearing. Good luck!

I noticed the A-arms are different than 02s maybe wider even. Also the steering stem is different the bar clamp is straight with the stem it used to be angled up.The ball joints have wire clips on the boots to keep them sealed.Did anyone else notice the a-arms?Are they wider?

The tubes seem to be larger, but the main thing is, they've made them narrower. There is less room now between the arms and the shocks. I can barely slide my hand down in between the shock body and the a-arm now. I believe this would aid in rigidity(is that a word?)and handling, less flex.

They also have a "shield" now that covers the ball joints. I don't understand it, it's like the A Arms have a cup where the ball joints go in. Just looks like a place for dirt and water to lay in to me.

I like the steering stem alot better! I have one order....as soon as they're available anyway.
