Last night I borrowed a friends Bone stock Speed and went to the local fair drag race. I entered the 0-700cc 4-stroke unlimited class (any mods allowed) I ended up finishing second to a drag prepped FX400 only becaused I missed a shift. I beat several purpos built drag quads. There were built Raptors and 400ex's on NOS. I also raced my GNCC 250R in the 250 open 2 stroke class and got second. My times were faster on the Dale! I am a XC racer and this was my first time racing a drag in about 8 years.
Anyone want a 250R!!!

 

Thats what i'm screaming !!! second after 8 years with no dragging next time sounds like 1 st and big purse !!

No doubt! Tomorrow night we are having MX, I'll see how the C-Dale does at that.

 

How many ran in your class? And yes, where can I pick up your R at!!?? I always have room in my garage for another R!!

 

There were 15 in the class! And no I don't do drugs. I can take a pic of the trophie if you really don't believe me. It was a 150' strip, the Dale was hooking up way better than the other quads.
The 250R is in KY.

150 ft strip would be the one with a holeshot would win. Good job for sure but build quads will out run you after that point!

Now if you really want to see what your buddies stock Speed has, bring it on over to Silver Lake Michigan on Aug 31st and Sept 1st. A little bit different running 300' in sand, with other 4-strokes that will give you that holeshot just to pass you after the first 100'.
