I've spent a ton of time online and on the phone today trying to find frt. pads for my P-650. None of the local dealers have them in stock. Nobody(that I can find) has them online either! Rocky Mtn., Erlandson, dennis Kirk ...NO ONE has 'em. What's up with that? I am $crewed!

STILL researching this pad situation. NO ONE has them online. Apparently, ONLY the dealer can get them at this time @ $48.00 PER SIDE.
No one has any suggestions?.......Good luck when YOU need brakes!
MY SUGGESTION--- if you ride fast in the mud, start inspecting those pads at 500 mi., or so. I got lucky, caught mine before they took out the rotor(s).

mastrblstr--- Thank you for trying. I have a source checking with EBC distributor, if that doesn't work, I get to order them from the Kaw Dealer, wait 5 days and pay $100.00 US for the two sets(Rt.&LH)!!! What a mess....................

NO ONE else has had to replace frt pads on thier P-650?
In my search for after market pads, I found nothing. They have listings (some), but can't get them yet. THE only source is KAW!!!!
I'll bite the bullet on this first set from Kaw. dealer, but I'm going to try to reline the old pads myself!!!! This SUCKS. I am very surprised that no one else has mentioned this problem!!??!!

I had posted a topic on brakes a few weeks ago..... Had same problem as you, ended up finding a local Kaw dealer who had em (factory pads)in stock, 84 dollars and I was on my way! Cant beat that deal, these brakes are gonna break me!

Fishhead-- I had to "bend over" to the tune of 95.77 INCLUDES tax.
I will reline my old pads. I can buy the friction material, and can epoxy the linings to the backings, just like the factory. I'll post more about the process once I've done it.

Trx, I hope you have not installed your pads yet, I was looking at springs on EPI's website and stumbled onto heavy duty brake pads for the 650 for $32 each.
