Hey everybody! I love my new Trinity exhaust system. It looks, sounds, and performs AWESOME. It came with a 190 jet. When I pull wheelies it starts to cut out. Also, where the head pipes run into the midpipe it leaks. Is this something I need to worry about or is there some kind of sealant I need. Why does it cut out when doing wheelies? All help is appreciated.

Does it get flooded or does it run out of gas?

mxzxracin, I don't know. It seems to start "sputtering" before it cuts out completely. It doesn't seem to be the rev limiter cause it starts to cut out before I have it completely nailed.

After it shuts does it take a while to start? Or does it fire right up?
If it does not start for a few sec's then you are flooding, that means that if you are flooding only during wheelies you float needs to be adjusted.

That sucks about the leak. Is it just a slip-on joint, or is there a clamp? If its a slip joint, then you'll probably never get it sealed, no matter how hard you try. If it clamps, then they should've designed it to have a gasket, and if it doens't then again, it'll probably never seal, no matter how hard you try.
I'd call them and let them know - I'm sick of pipe makers making these pathetic mistakes in their designs, and charging $500 for it. They know its gonna leak before they produce it, and don't care.

About the leak you should try some heat resistant silicon, you can get it at most auto stores. That should stop it from leaking.

I had the same exact problem. The wheels would get about 2 feet off the ground, in 2nd gear, then it would bog, and spudder. It is rich. I was yanking, on the bars, and flooring it hard, and it would just spudder. Then I yanked off the Airbox lid, floored it in 2nd and pulled up on the bars, and WHOAH! way more responsive, a little too much, as I landed on my as$ and the quad stood straight up. I have the scrapes, and bruises to prove it.

Hey Larry, this is Randy Hoover,i was the guy with the Sand SkateII's if you dont remember, i got my graphics on and it looks pretty good. I had the same problem with my Warrior only mine was a combonation, mine was the needle setting and the cam to the acceleator pump causing it to be hella rich my needle wasnt letting enough air in and the cam wasnt set so it was basically just dumping gas and wasnt getitng enough air. Another thing was the Accelator pump would stick wide open, so Id take the Carb apart and tune it, i dont know what to tune it by so i'd tlak to Randy M., well get that damn baja running so i can race you. I didnt go tot he river today (the 28th) i could give you excuses all day but everybody would give me hell.well good luck box

The 4-wheeler will spudder if your ridding a wheelie real slow or not giving it enough throttle just be a little more aggressive and go faster in a wheelie
