ok we are getting ready to get an new 02 cannibal instead of spending the extra 6 grand for a moto we are putting moto parts on the cannibal. front suspension, rear axle etc. what would be the best pipe silencer combo or just slip on for the cannondales. right now the cannibal we race has the fmf off the moto which helped performance a lot. also special has the hmf which has a sweet sound to it but our main concern is performance. i hear trinity has or is getting ready to put out a pipe for the dales. any info or experiance with this system. thanks in advance

What do you think of the sound levels between the HMF and factory Moto pipe? Which one is quieter?

Hey markvette I saw josh's quad at Kip's and it looked great. I got the 03 speed. But I have been talking to Aron and Harry at Trinity and they told me that their piped will be out anyday now. I've been aggraviting both of them to get out. I will be calling them tomorrow. also I just installed a Trinity pipe on a Z 400 and they said that the pipe will look the same as the z 400

yea kip told me you bought a speed. yea the cannibal looked pretty good with the motos tires and wheels on it. josh wasnt used to the holeshots this weekend and it kinda messed him up some. he took the hoeshot in the first moto and then two wheeled in the corner and special passed him. we still gonna race for kip but gonna get josh his own cannibal and put moto parts on it. he's pushed the cannibal about as far as he can witout adding some width to it to corner better. you gonna race that speed, we will be in gonzales this coming weekend and then back to rock hill the next. we probably will go to gonzales friday so josh can get some seat time on the track and spend the night in our camper there friday night. if you dont race come on out and watch. josh and mike are going craptor hunting.

I plan on getting back racing. I had a Banshee, ask special about that thing, but had a bad crash and broke my shoulder and had bad luck ever since. Last year special finished 1st and i won 2nd for the Hammond series. But I planned on racing the Gonzalas race but I didn't get to much seat time cause I played mecanic to everyone elses bike. Me and special are going to do the oil change tomorrow and I'm gonna try to go to Fernwood wed to get some track time.

fernwoods a nice track, josh loves it. i hate we will not get to race there this coming weekend but feel it is important to be at gonzales.last time we were at fernwood josh practiced friday night till 10 getting all the jumps down right. he was hitting that back interstate double with the throttle pinned in fifth. talk about some air and then lock up the brakes to make that 90 degree turn. see you at the races.

Have you already put on the Moto parts??

The Moto A-arms with the bearings and tie rods are over $1,200.00!!!

You would come out alot cheaper with a set from Walsh.

BTW...Nearly every Cannondale in North Miss has come from our store and only one has left without an HMF slip-on. The 2003 models are leaving with the complete system.

The HMF not only sounds good, but every dyno run that I have seen with one installed is putting out anywhere from 39-43HP at the rear wheel. The complete system adds almost 2HP over the slip-on that is only available for the 2002 models.

You can get even more by changing the pulse width of the fuel injection.

My quad has a custom map that we have been experimenting with for a few months now. Only one other quad besides mine has it. He drag races weekly and has only been beaten by a Banshee running NOS so far.

The Cannibal's only mods are the HMF slip-on, change in pulse width, and our own mapping......that's it.

we are getting moto a-arms, shocks, steering stem and stabilizer otherwise the whole moto front end. i cant mention price but you couldnt buy half the items from the aftermarket fo it. you have to remember that my son rides for a cannondale dealer. the moto that our other rider rides han an fmf system. if i remember correctly kip said his rep was in north or south carolina. also on the front end, the stock parts that come off the cannibal will be bought back by our dealer to help offset the price of the moto front end.
