Those of you who own the new 700 Twin.........Are you happy with it?? Would you buy it again?? What problems have you had if any??

guy i know has had no problems with his, it's a little over a month old. just had its first service. he said his sp500 had a lot of little thing go wrong, so only time will tell with the 700 (at least his)

 

a riding partner of mine has one. It runs awesome, fast, plush, rules in mud, but they can't get the overheating fixed even after his dealer installed the mod kit to make the fan run longer. Don't know if this is a fluke or not.

 

I have 800 miles on mine. I have had the water pump cover leak, like most of the new SP700 owners in spite of that, for a new production machine I love it. The power is awesome, it shifts easier than a 500, it is MUCH more water tight, the ride is GREAT and as for the verbal beating I take for not having a pull starter; I have a custom built 4X4 Bronco that goes anywhere it will fit, it does not have a backup pull starter and I know I can’t get a tow from places I have had it, besides none of my friends have ever used their pull starters.

Bottom line is before buying I rode Griz 660 the Kaw Prairie, my friend’s SP500 and 500HOs, I bought the SP700 and I am spoiled. After 800 mile you might call me prejudiced but you are wrong, I am a total bigot towards the SP700!
