Hole in seat???
#1
Hey everybody. Got a question. I know alot of you guys have K&N carb mount filters. Anybody came up with a way to keep the seat from rubbing the filter? I figured I would make some brackets to attatch to the frame at first, now I am wondering if cutting a hole in the plastic just large enough for the filter would hurt or even work? Also, is it going to hurt anything if my new Trinity pipe leaks a tiny bit where the head pipes slide in to the midpipe? HELP!!!!!

hey Box this is Randy H. My Pro Circuit POS leaks too...i just got exhaust sealant tape and wrapped the mid pipe and then i just put the slip on back on. No problem now. And as far as K&N's go i wouldnt have anything but a UNI

Randy, thanks for your input! I had already considered muffler tape, guess thats what I'll do. You would think after paying 500.00 for a pipe that it would come with WHATEVER you needed! Anyway, I really like it and it REALLY woke up my Baja! See ya at the river Sunday!
