Will a stock 400ex beat a new stock CR125 in accerleration and top speed? Also, what is the top speed of the 400ex? My friend has a CR125 and i want to know if i get a 400ex if i can beat him. Thanks

Yup, sorry to say that the 125 will win if he can drive. Even if he can't drive he'll still win on top end.

I am a polaris owner,but I like a honda as much as anyone.If Honda has the power and technology for the dirt bikes,then why the heck don't they utilize it in thier atv line up?Come on Honda,you are gonna cause your faithful followers to stray.

'85 CR125 will do over 120km/h=75mph (my XR will do 120 and he pulled away)

 

I had a stock 85' CR125.

Its top speed was around 63-65 MPH with stock gearing.

With some motor mods, and gearing up.. I had her up to around 75 MPH but the engine just couldnt pull that tall 6th gear any more.

No way a stocker is doin 75.

(I know this.. I had my 85' for 5 years)

 

Hey dudes, i just got a stock 400 ex and my friend has a cr125. Haha, we just dragged today and i beat him by a diecent amount on on 500 foot race or so. He also isn't the greatest rider being he didnt get the dirtbike that long ago but i didnt have my best race either. I started off pulling a wheelie and then i flipped it to second so it slowed me down a lot. When i came down he was right at the same distance as me after that i smoked him.
