What the F is going on. Where's the Honda sport quads? anyone hear anything? I'm not even hearing rumors in fact the last time i heard something was DW's pathetic April fools joke.

 

I, myself do think Honda is working on a new sport quad. Wouldnt business be so much better for Honda if it was a suprise to everyone, rather than tell dirtwheels they are working on it and expect to have it in production in 5 years.I like what Honda is doing, if, in fact that is what they are doing.

 

this is the word from my local dealer owner: a 750ex will be on the floors by this time next year. it is liquid cooled. i did not ask about reverse. price is 6,700. the owner told me that it will do 105 mph out of the box(i doubt that). i have a hard time believing that honda will produce a 750 sport quad, but you never know. i also have a hard time believing that they will make an atv go over 100 mph. they had lawsuits with the 250R and quit making it and that sure did not hit 100 mph. but then again i would like to believe my local honda dealer owner. only time will tell.

A quad that goes 105 out of the box is in no way going to cost 6700 bucks. I'd like to see that come out and all the lawsuits that will occur after. As you said people had lawsuits about those 250r's. How dumb are you if you think after that Honda will come out with a quad that goes 105.

dont believe your dealer, hey, did you know that yamaha is making an 800cc raptor that goes 120mph out of the box? well, frig, my word is just as good as anybody elses and you guessed it, im pulling your leg.

You might all be fooled if honda comes out with something totally different. Im hoping for a 650cc, liquid cooled, dohc, reverse, 10" travel front and rear, weighs less than 400lbs, and is priced for the same as a raptor.

Wow, so harsh, cant we all just calm down and wait a little bit longer? I mean seriously people, look what happened with the 400ex. Honda did their homework(obviously lots of it) and made a machine that still kicks *** even with the new high performance quads that came out, And it had, and still has very few problems. Everyone just wait ad honda will come out with something crazy that no one expected, and it will handle better and last longer than damn near all the quads out now.

well if its going to be a 650 or a 700 class quad i don't want it big bore quad's are not for me, those i think are mainly targeted to macho newbie's in there late 20's early 30's looking for a new weekend hobbie and don't know s@#$ about our sport. not saying the raptor is completely bad iv seen a few turned into desent rideable quads but face it big bore quads are made so some azz can tell his buddy HEY i have a 660cc quad.....so what you can port and cam and pipe a 400ex to get the 38 factory claimed hp i don't know about u guy's but if honda wants to sell me a quad it better have the crf450 engine bolted in it
