250R vs. Banshee
#1
Would a stock banshee kill a stock 250r in a drag race? If so, what mods could you do to a 250r to make it faster than the stock banshee? I've heard that 250r's are faster but then i've heard that no matter what you do to a 250r a banshee will always be faster. What is true?

Stock for stock the banshee wins,
Piped vs piped the banshee wins,
Mild port vs mild port, the banshee wins,
Wild port vs Wild port, the banshee wins
CR 500 Motor in a 250 R frame, the R wins, Usually.

Here we go again... Equal mnoney, there is no way a 250r is going to beat a banshee. Ive raced em all at glamis. 250R piped, big bore, you name it. The banshee has more cc's to start with, revs quicker, and has a higher RPM limit. At any rate, go to your favorite riding spot and watch, it usually doesnt take long to see a banshee whipping up on some 250R owner. That includes ATC's

You can big bore the 250r and drag port it and use the biggest fat pipe, ct whale, ftz in frame, esr type 11(i think?). My 250r is a 350 cc 78.5mm bore on alky with the msd ignition. I have race many banshee's and won, BUT there is always someone who is faster. Its all fun. It cost a lot to make the r fast but it is worth it. Plus its cool to have something unexpected to be fast that is fast
