Does anybody have any kind of info on the upcoming honda sled? 2 or 4 stroke? any pics? Thanks in advance.

 

I have read about rumurs of honda getting into the snowmobile world for the past 2 or 3 years. When honda came out with there watercraft, snowmobilers thought that they might use the 1235cc four stroke engine out of it and put into a snowmobile. I don't think anything is certain or not if honda will make a sled. Why imp are you just curious or do you not like your viper?? If not you could always get a REAL sled and get an ARCTIC CAT...lol.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Honda DOES have a new snowmobile.

The Honda Rep says that it will be shown at the Honda Dealer Show next month along with other new 2003 quads and motorcycles.

 

By the way, it IS a fourstroke, although the details and size of the engine wont be announced until then.

 

How about a new sport quad?

Why bother with Honda sleds. SKidoo is the only thing worthy of snow.

Mar - I live about 30 mins from you, im from hamilton.

Now for the snow, I dont like snowmobiles too much, they are fun, but when it comes down to it all, you just cant beat an ol'fashioned pair of snow shoes. Theyre arent very powerful but they are effective, they are about 10/4000's costly, and are very reliable, and parts are pretty cheap. Maintaince - what maintaince?! They are air-cooled, not liquid, so they dont freeze up. And if you try hard, you can even get air with them! Jump off a hill, its easy. Top speed is around 5mph.
