Does anyone have these lights? Especially the ones that mount on the handlebar clamp. How well do they work? Installation pains? Cost? All opinions welcome!

I have the ones you are refering to. I LOVE them, one of the best mods I have done to my Raptor. The MOOSE turned me on to them. They light up the world compared to stock. They are also cheap, I got mine for around $100 at Rocky Mountain. In stallation is a breeze, just change the bar clamp, put on the lights, and connect a couple of wires. GREAT product.

I've got them.
They are great lights & one of the best mods I've put on my quad! I've got 1~50 watt flood & 1~50 watt spot & they work great. I do a lot of night riding at Little Sahara & they put out a lot of light.
Here's the Lights & trail Tech computer This is the only Front view that I could find.
The install was fairly easy but I removed the front plastic to make routing the wires easier.

I got mine from Rocky mountain for $119.

Don't go any higher than 50 watt bulbs!! I tried the 75 watt bulbs & they fried the connectors!! They were just too hot.

I'm not that knowledgeable about lights and such but how does a 50 watt flood light compare to a 2 million CP q-beam type light?

Only an Aggie would ask about whats BRIGHT.LOL Just joking dude.

The 2 million will fry your eyes in about 1/2 second the 50 watts in about 15 sec. You can illuminate with the 2 million for along was the 50 watt flood probably only 30 Feet or so.

Just my thoughts

Hey Ward and Moose, are you both talking about the handlebar mounted clamps right? Trailtech.net has them for $139. Rocky Mountain has them cheaper? Are you guys running the Trailtechs and your stock lights too? Thanks so far, things are looking BRIGHT

I haven't checked the prices lately, I got mine in Dec 01 & they were $119 at rocky mountain. They came with 35 watt lights & I put 50 Watt bulbs in them.

Yes mine are the handle bar mounts. Click the links (blue letters) in my first post to see them.

You can get replacement bulbs at Lowes, Home Depot or a lighting store. They're track light bulbs! There not as tough as the Trail tech lights (I haul my Raptor in the bed of my truck & if I hit rain they leak) but they're only $5 each instead of $12.

Yes I run the stock lights & the Trail Techs at the same time with a stock stator with no problems. I don't leave them on when we're at idle just sitting.

I'm gonna get the Trail Tech lights that replace the stock lights before long.

Mine are on the clamp as well. I have the generic Yamaha clamp, no holes for indicator lights, since I already moved them. I don't run my stock lights. I have been thinking about adding two more 35 watt lights in the stockers location. I think mine were about $120 as well. You can check here if you like.

Thanks to all for replying. So many things I want, but the money and my wifes patience is running out I'll have to add these lights to my "wants" list. Thanks all
