that's very strange - I have no idea where air would come from after the motor is off. If it was pumping out while the motor was running I'd say there is blow-by around the piston rings, and it would be accompanied by oil too.

Well if that's what it is than the combustion pressure is leaking around your rings and into the crankcase causing it to have a positive pressure. The first things that comes to mind is Bad Rings and or scores on the sleeze. Either way you will need to pull the head off and take a look.

HEY excessive blow by is not uncommon in some ds's mine has perfect compression and has always had excessive blow by.if your compression is alright and the mess bothers you talk to jeff he has a system to keep his pretty little engine clean and it works good!! like blood on a warrior i consider it battle scares!!the more i bleed the more hurt i put on someone!! I can hear a slight wisp of presure when i turn it off i went out and checked!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] if you run a compressoin test and it is good then all is good!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
