Well we found a good deal on a 2001 Ds650 so we bought it today, lol. We were down in southern california and checked it out this afternoon. Has 23" bandits on the front and 22" bandits on the rear and a modified endcap. RIGHT ON!!! I think your Dad will be alot happier with the DS over the Raptor with his bad back?. We can adjust that supension so it feels like he is riding on air if he wants to. You'll have to let me know what you think of the bandits.

 

Thanks, everybody. The cart is almost done and will be out at sand mtn. for labor day. I will take some pics of it tomorrow and post them on here once we get it all put back together today and tomorrow. We just got done painting it. I got the DS for $3900. I thought it was a damn good deal for a 2001. Is there any difference between the 2000 and 2001? Thanks, Sean

Well i just got back from going down to socal. and getting the DS. I likey. From riding it around here it seems to be a "monday" bike like demon's but we will have to wait and see. It looks like we have OVER 10 trailers going on the Sept. trip and should have close to 10 for the Oct. trip.

I hope to pick up my wife's new Raptor before the Oct. trip (she wanted the Green Sticker.) We have a LE Black one on order for her. We will be selling the Warrior as soon as the Raptor comes in.

Glad to hear you got a good deal but, don't like hearing of such a low re-sale value. That really is cheap. Heck, I am going to put the '99 Warrior in the paper for $3800-$3900. The Warrior doesn't even come close to the DS but, it does have reverse (chicks dig reverse.)
