Well, after performing a compression check and finding just at 99 to 102 psi with the throttle wide open and about 10 kicks of the kickstarter, I decided that it was too marginal to just hop on and ride for the rest of the season.

Last night I tore it all apart, and man am I glad I did! After removing the head, I grabbed the pistons and tried to move them around in the cylinders, and the play was quite noticeable. I could rock them back and forth a bit and move the tops side to side a bit. After removing the cylinders and inspecting everything, it all looks to be in good shape, I'm just glad that I didn't let it go for the rest of this year. I have heard stories and seen the results of letting the cylinder play get too high, and definately didn't want to replace a bottom end due to negligence.

I am considering boring just .020 and using the ultra-lite (or super-lite, whatever Wiseco calls it) Wiseco kit, any recommendations? I want to make sure that I don't have any cooling issues, and figured that .020 was safe.
