Ok, I have 2 deer hunts and one elk hunt and the perfect excuse to buy a new toy. I don't think my blue Raptor will lug an elk out of a deep canyon. Tell me what to get. I don't want to do all the research and bs. I am a buyer - not a shopper!!

It really depends on what your budget is. Also do you want an auto trans or manual.

if you are going to use it for hunting only and don't care about speed I would go with Big Bear or Kodiak!

If price is not an issue....get the grizzly. But if you are just wanting to go hunting and pull game out....i would get the big bear. Put some aggresive tires on it and you are set. BB is a manual shift and if auto is needed/wanted then the kodiac will do the trick. Same thing with any bike....CHANGE THE TIRES!

If you are leaning towards an auto then I would look at a Prairie 360 or 650. The nice thing about the 650 is it's sporty enough to trail ride with. My father has the Prairie 300 4x4 and we have put (not optimal) 4 guys on it to get to where we are hunting. 2 guys on the seat and 2 on the back rack. We all weigh over 200 lbs. It handled it very well. If you are wanting a quad just to hunt/work with I would look at the Arctic Cats or the Bombardiers. They can pull a heavier load than most.

Why not have the guide haul it out? Apply the cash towards making the Raptor faster!
