[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] I was at our local ridding spot the other day, and i weigh 125lbs on my honda 250x and i beat a guy on a 2 stroke blaster i belive and beat him barley, but then i raced a 250 mojave with a 85 lb friend on it and he edged me out. Im assuming my 250x can out run it, but did he edge me out b/c he weigh so less?

 

on the smaller bore engines weight is a factor. i can't ride my wifes 250ex up big sand hill but she flies over it.

 

weight does matter, but like atc said, only on littler cc quads.

 

Do yall mean littler quads as 250s and down? Now i like i said i did beat the 2 stroke blaster but not the dang mojave and the kid weighed 85 lbs

 

maybe on 300 c.c's or down, maybe not much on 300 c.c's, but it will matter.

 

Weight does matter regardless of engine size. Less weight means more power to move the machine without having to waste power just to move.

 

i have a 300ex,Work shocks, supertrapp, bandits,and is 140lbs too muchweight? whats like the maximum weight you guys think?

 

So by the way yall talk yes my 250x could beat the mojave, if he had the same weight i did? i mean when he beat me it was barley.... like right at the end of the strip. im just couris.

 

Just remember,also,the Mojave is a dual over head cam liquid cooled motor,it is a very quick revving motor, I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.

 

What does the honda have going for it then?
