I am thinking about getting airbox lid vents and I am just wondering if I will need to rejet my carb again due to a little more air flow?????

Don't cut up your stock air box lid, just get a Moto-Force Lid,it has big vents on the sides, directs air around the filter, and you can get it in clear plastic,so you can keep an eye on your filter. It runs about 40 bucks, but it will flow better than some vent push-ins,and you will still have your stock lid for really wet muddy riding,or in case you want to put it all back to stock to sell later.

A new lid will only cost you $12.00 so cut up the one you got and if you sell buy a new one then. The vents do little-to-nothing, I made a homemade vent out of a butter lid and some foam filter material and some epoxy to hold it all together and it works great. It's about 7" in diameter and I just coat it with a little filter oil to keep water and dirt out.
