The Rincon first ride reveiw by atv televison will air this week on the Outdoor Channel Mon.@ 4:00 P.M,Wed.@9:00 P.M. and Fri.@9:00AM should be interesting.

ATV TV huh? I can't believe that show is still on the air. I got se fed up with that show I quit watching it. I may take a look to see what Doug says about the RIncon though.

 

why? cause they're all sport utes i guess.

 

Rincon, in part because because the coverage is 95% utility quads. Also, in part because the show STINKS!!!!

Come on, a 3 part series of rock crawling - gees that gets boring to watch after a while. People winching quads for the whole show. BORING!!! Or, what about the one where Doug READS FROM A MAGAZINE about a mud tire review... My god, what kind of journalism is that? The host reading a magazine review while they show the same clip of a grizzly sloshing around in a mud pit. I could go on all day about how bad that show is but i'll refrain.

 

Don't forget that Honda is his largest sponsor so I wonder if he will be able to praise the new Rincon enough. I am also sure he will tell you the Rincon will work better if you put on his other sponsors tires. He is the most biased reviewer I have ever seen who ever his sponsor is that is who will do the best on his show.
The only reason I watch his show is to see these new ATV’s like the Honda Rincon in action.
You can predict his shootouts by counting his commercials which ever ATV manufactures advertised the most will win.

I've found his shows to generally provide a fair assessment of the things he rides. He named the P650 the best of the big bore class, and I can't say that I saw more Kawi commercials then or now. He's generally not afraid to say things that he doesn't like about the various machines. In fact, I've read that he has lost some sponsors over his comments. The alternative is to read the 100 or so magazines out there. Everything in them is rosy.

 

The show has made leaps and bounds over the past year. 10 times better than it was last year. Much more action, and while he is talking or showing specs, they keep a window in the corner of footage!!!
On another note, I believe he is a very straight shooter, tells it like it is. Did anyone see his review on the Bombardier rally? They have a commercial on his show, but he still told us like it is. It sucked.

 

the bombardier rally desn't suck, it's just butt ugly, overall it's a top performer. i think sometimes people get carried away, they think a 200cc (actually a 176cc) quad should perform the same as a 660grizz or a sp700. in it's group it more than holds its own!
