Best suspension for jumping "huevos" style on raptor?
#1
What is the best suspension for jumping? does SSD negatively affect your shock for taking that kind of abuse? Do I want a higher spring rate, cuz by compression dampening is all the way up on the rear shock and it still feels mushy. Do I need a different rear shock that is stiffer?
p.s. I got the mac daddy conversion in the back and works triple rates up front

Jeff, wish I could answer your question but I can't. I have a question for you though. How much did the mac daddy conversion cost with ssd and all? Did you get it from the quad shop? Did you just send in your stocker or what? thanks.

Ok here it is:
>How much did the mac daddy conversion cost with ssd and all, etc?
I sent my 2002 rear shock and it cost me $305 for the work and shipping from Kentucky to Mass was $8 one way. I got the work done by the quad shop, ask for Marty.
It did lower the rear end, but it does not feel weird at all with the front not lowered. I thought it would but doesn't it handles so much better! I love the raptor more than I did. Well worth it. I am doing some serious jumping though and before we build the "Big Daddy" jump I want to know if I should upgrade the rear/front shocks.
