I have a 2001 325 Magnum 4x4. I was just wondering what that tube next to the shifter is. If you take off the plastic on the shifter side, there is a plastic "snorkle" looking thing coming from the back of the engine to the side of the bike by the shifter. It has a square fitting with 3 openings on it and a foam type gasket that fits up against the outer plastic. What is this thing. Is it airflow for the engine to cool it? Will water getting into this tube hurt anything? If I snorkle my bike, do I need to snorkle this hose as well? Please help! I thought I knew quite a bit about my bike until I saw this thing. Now I am stumped. Thanks in advance for your replies.

You might try to go to polaris's site and get the part catalog for your bike and see if it names it in there..

Thanks Sisyphus2k2,

I found it in the diagrams on the Polaris site. It says it is the clutch intake.
I guess I need to snorkle that too.
Thanks for the help!

Sorry, just got sidetracked stuffing 33 inch mudders on the truck. If someone doesn't get you an answer, I'll do some research tonight.

The tube on the right is your PVT intake and the tube on the left is your PVT exhaust.
