i've read all the threads in the archives about the fastest quads. but those are always based on top speeds. but honestly, it's rare that while riding trails you really get to really stretch it out there and hit top speed. so i was wondering, of all the stock atv's made, including all brands, who would be in the top 10 fastest through the gears. (like 0-55mph acceleration range) any guesses?

LT500 = #1 nuff said lol.

 

might sound stupid, but utilitys could go for this.. because they are so low geared and some motors rev fast, you can go through them pretty quickly

 

LT500, raptor, banshee, 400EX, 250R, LT250, 250 Tecate, Z400, scrambler 4x4, blaster, warrior

You can mix and match pending on rider.

i've read that in top speed, the tecate 4 is slightly faster than the 250R and LT250R. are the 250R/LT250 actually faster pulling through the gears than the tecate?

 

i thought the higher dollar Cannondale's were the fastest?

 

Stakk is right what about the c dales. And how about the ds 650 never ridden one but everyone says there fast.

 

yeah,the cannondales are real fast out of the hole.stock for stock i dont know of anything that can beat it.A cannondale can pull my 310r on the holeshot in a motocross race.But ill catch up.lol

 

The DS 650's are FAST. Especially when they're built up a bit. The Cannondales will seriously launch harder than any other quad except for maybe the Zilla. I don't know though... the Zilla will be harder to launch due to the spinning.

 

I can't believe these topics come up any more. Can't we let these "my quad is faster than your quad" topics go and talk about some thing else
