I have asked before, but never really got much in response. If the cannondales are as fast as people say, why not be even faster.?

Someone get off of their _ _ _ and put one on alcohol would ya...

I am very very curious to see the results of this, I believe that the ported and piped banshee's would really have to watch their backs then...(maybe?)

Anyone agree or disagree?

These guys have a hard enough time keeping everything together running on gasoline. I could only imagine the outcome of one running alcohol or other poweradder.

Not flaming the product...just my opinion based on what I have seen with them first hand.

Should have come to Monster Mountain this weekend we had major problems with our c-dales. 1) had to put fuel in them 2) had to air up rear tire that went flat while not at our motor home but for some reason it fixed it's self after that.

BOY THATS ALOT OF PROBLEMS

Seriously. Take a look at this forum. I brought this up last week and now no one is posting of problems. Why? Because i brought up a sore subject. Give it a couple of days. You will see computer problems all over the place.

I have only seen about a half dozen of these things over the last two years at about 8 different tracks. Everyone says that they have had problems with them. They all said that problems were taken care of from their dealers, but still would rather ride than wait for repairs to be done on a new ATV. I agree.

The dealer here tried pushing them down all our throats at the tracks for the first 6 months of being a dealer. He's still a dealer right now, but is trying to get rid of the franchise because he can't keep his customers happy. He says that he has had problems with every one of them that he sold whether they raced or not. I don't know how many he had sold, but it didn't sound good anyway.

I rode a Moto he had this past spring and loved the power, but hated the feel of it. A week later atthe same track another guy was riding it and the tierods broke. This thing was only a few weeks old!!!

So don't throw your sarcasm to me ezride. If I was making it all up, that's one thing. But this is nothing more than fact.
And opinion that it hasn't gotten better.

Come on guys think about it. Buy a cannibal, put on a good pipe, remap it, and get it on alcohol....sounds like you should then for sure be one of the fastest if not THE fastes quad.....If I could go back to when I bought the Raptor and do it over, I would have the cannibal, and it would be on alcohol.......anyone wanna trade......LOL.....

Hey Cappy, grab a beverage....this is going to take awhile....

I just posted a problem with mine! So, no we're not afraid to post them....

We've gone rounds and rounds with you about the Cannondales, so get off of it and stay in the Honda forum. I'm sick and tired of hearing your opinion...thank you very much.

The only dealerships I've seen have trouble selling Cannondales and keeping them running are dealerships that aren't "into" Cannondale. I DO have first hand experience with this also. 3 out of the 4 dealerships within 100 miles of me, do not know anything about the Cannondale machines. I know more than they do. And it's the DEALERSHIPS OWN FAULT!!!!

First off you have to forget everything you know about a engine to work on one of these. It's a totally different animal. A dealership that just thinks they're going to pick up Cannondale and run with it is in for a rude awakening. You need to stay up with all the updates that Cannondale has. You need the get the dealer training from Cannondale to work on the machines and start to understand them. The trainings are ran on a regular basis, you even get a chance to ride all of the Cannondale machines at their own test track. You need to stay in contact with your Rep. on a regular basis. Cannondale is a very busy and always changing factory. If there is a problem that they're aware of, you need to know about it! There parts manual has been updated numerous times this year. If a dealer sells a "non-updated" quad or bike, and something goes wrong, who's fault is it? Cannondale makes the updates readily available to their dealerships through their website and the Sales Reps. So who's fault is it? Marcum's out of Florida, ATV Addiction out of Pennsylvania, Ez-Ride, NAC's, and R&S Performance(to name a few) have had great sucess selling Cannondales. If you do not stay up on Cannondale's updates, your going to shoot yourself in the foot.

THe Moto you described, there was an update to the front ends and this one never had the update...BAD DEALERSHIP!!!!

CRACKIN' CARL,

I agree with everything that jcv400ex just said.

I have seen many Cannondale dealers come and go. The problems that you decribed are an isolated case indeed.

We carry Cannondale also, and it's a tough job. Especially considering the fact that we sell 6 more brands!!! BUT, we still have hope in the future of Cannondale and that after a few years,.....so will everyone else.

As much as I want to tell you what you can do with your race team.......I wont. Instead...I offer you to make the short drive over to Starkville so that I may show you first hand at what the Cannondales are capable of. I'm not saying that I will beat you or your boys, but you wont see me on the sidelines jetting the carb either.

You can PM me giving that you don't have a phone.
