I will be replacing the tires on my xplorer 400 soon. I just bought the machine and don't even know what size tires are on it now. What size tires would be ok for stock rims on this machine. I am thinking of putting titan 489s on it? Other recommendations....Please help@!

The Titan 489 is a good tire but also look at the ITP Spider Trac, ITP Blackwater ITP 589 and the Goodyear Mudrunner. The Goodyear Mudrunner would be my recomendation.

East Kentucky motorsports is an excellent place to order your tires. Best prices and an excellent staff to help you with your purchase.

I put the Titan 489XT's on my 98 Explorer. I loved them. Mostly rode on trails, rocks, and desert. Very little mud.

Would do it again in a minute.

Any good tire like they have mentioned but I would stay with the stock size to keep your power and handling.
