Hey my little bro has a LT80 and wer were looking if there was anything bigger for him. I noticed polaris came out with a pretator 90 that is bigger and more suspension then a LT 80. I was wondering if anyone knew if the pretator 90/scramber 90 is gutless or if it has similar power to the LT 80 thanks

he's 10 right now and we'll probably keep it for 1 more year maby 2. it fits him ok right now but in a year or 2 it will be getting to small. I moved up to a blaster when i was 11 but its quite a step from an Lt80 so we were just lookin to see if there were other options

well, personally i think that another 80 or 90 will be a bit too small. perhaps a 250ex would be in order. clutchless, and reverse i believe. the size isnt much bigger than the 80s, the raptor 80 anyway, which is what my 6 yr old sister has.

well my sisters, 15 and 6, can both ride and have fun on our raptor 80. with the throttle screw let out, my 100lb sis can do 40 no prob. my dad, 250 or so, jumps right on and cruises around too. i know for a fact it has a lot more power than the polaris. have not compared it directly to the honda however. i do know that the raptor is somewhat bigger than most of the other kid quads, actually, pretty much all of them. if you want even more power, take the restrictor off the intake, the dealer did this for us and it makes a world of difference. all the other stuff i was talking about was before the removal, it screams now but no test runs as of yet

The 250ex would be a nice step up. There is other quad companies that make a 150cc quad. I think Kasea does, I even think they are now making a 250cc quad.

There is a company making extreme quads that are 100cc minis, and they are supposed to be releasing a 150cc semi-mini quad as well. They are made by Aeon, which makes the Polaris minis and are good quality.

We rode the new little Predator, it is the best little mini out there, with way more power than a Raptor 80 and decent suspension and tires.

I just purchased a LT80 for my son this summer and the person I got it from upgraded his son to a Yamaha Breeze 125. A little bit bigger more power and still automatic. This may be a good choice as well. HTH
