HMF has a head pipe for I think it was $230, would it be worth buying? Is it any bigger than stock?

It's not any bigger than stock, but it stays as two headpipes longer than the stocker before it meets the silencer.

I have rode a couple with them and didn't notice any "seat of the pants" difference. I haven't seen any dyno numbers that show the difference. Maybe you can find a member here who has done that.

The 2003 Cannondales have a head pipe that is very similar to the HMF header pipe offered for the 2001 and 2002 models, but to put an HMF on a 2003 requires the full HMF system....$450.00

The Head Pipe is good for 2-3 HP on the Low end and 3-4 hp more in the Mid.This is above what the HMF Silencer makes. The Full System makes about 1/2 to 1 HP more on the Top end.AS you can see the Head Pipe does its job in the Low and Mid Range.
