WHICH IS BETTER???
I own a raptor,but thinking about getting a 400ex.
when the 2 bikes are set up for mx, which is better?

 

400EX hands down. I've owned a few of each but you just can't beat the handling of the 400EX. It feels about a hundred pounds lighter even though it's only about 25 lighter than the 660. My CRF450 quad uses the 400EX geometry[Lonestar Outlaw Chassis] and is very comfortable. I've purchased a Z400 and and replaced it with a green one and it feels just like the Honda's ergonomics{it is}. They fly pretty good too!

 

If you want a dune machine or something just for playing, the Raptor is great. Althought you said racing and jumping and you can't beat the 400ex. Just check out the number the nextime you go to the track. I raced last weekend at Lamoni MX park and there was 2 raptors, 2 Z400's and 27 Honda's. The majority was 400's and the rest were R's.

It def depends on the cond you are in

 

MX: 400Ex or a Z400 or 250R go for the Z if you go 4stroke cause it has more power
Dunes: Banshee all the Way
TT(Shorttrack): Raptor or Banshee
Drag: Moded Banshee Rules All

 

So many banshee lovers. Its gotta be them twice pipes. Buh.. Oh the look when i smoke a piped banshee. God it feels good.

 

my 400 jumps very nice,my girls brother rides a raptor and is always complaining about it.
