400ex IN SNOW??How are THEY?

I live In northern MINN lol yeah it gets really cold and snowwwwyyy!!!! How will my ex handle in the snow and what pointers can you give me about rdiing on frozen lakes and stuff? chains on tires my buddies does on his. Is that any good? thanks for the help.

alltracks with studs work well in snow.studded bandits work ice.

6" to 8" deep.... is all you can do

I agree with the previous post, in 6 to 8 inches of snow, I can pretty much go anywhere a 4wd can go. If the snow is crusty, you also lean way back to keep the front tires from breaking through, and go through some deep stuff. Once you break through the crust, you better have help to get going again.
