For all Honda experts,a few questions: I was thinking of modding my son's 300ex over the winter,and want some input. I have heard about the 330 kit,is it just a sleeve and piston,or does it include a cam as well? anyone have this,and can you give me any input on it? Now,for the front end,I know 400ex a arms will bolt in, do you need to buy a kit to mount the 400ex shocks,or do you need to fab a bracket yourself? and finally,are 250r a arms the same? will they bolt on as well? Thank you for any information on these,and tell me if anything else would be needed for this swap,like tie rods,etc.

 

my brother had a 1994 300ex.it had a wiseco piston,not sure on details,but it had a k&n filter and a 133 main jet,with a duncan racing double barrel pipe.he could out run my stock 2002 300ex.
he gave me everything but the piston before he sold it.

 

Since we are on the subject of 300exs...can you tell me if it comes with an oil cooler? I am interested in developing a kit for the 300 if they don't already have one. I have one for the warrior and think I can adapt it to fit a 300ex pretty easily.

No oil cooler from the factory, FST makes one,JAGG makes one,might be others. Thanks for the responses I am getting,but please, I am looking for info on the 330 kit and front end mods, could I hear from someone who has done these,please?
