Just got back from the track. It ran good but not stellar. Best time was a 9.14 @ 71 mph. I know it will go 8's with the front strapped down and a 1.8 60ft. My best 60ft tonight was a 1.96, but on that run I had the front end in the air while I shifted into second. It continued to hang the front whells for another 10 feet and then it popped out of second gear. It pops out of second occassionally, forks probably. Anyway I was happy to see the mph go up by 3 and the times drop 4 tenths, which should equate to about 6-7 bike length's over my last times.

Mike, I think I might head back to the track Friday and either strap the front down or make some solid front struts. How bad does this affect handling at 70 mph? Does the steering become twitchy and unstable?

I think 1.8 60 fts should be pretty easy with the front end strapped down. With a little more tuning on the carb and some better 60 fts, I hope I can hit some 8.9X e.t.s. If not, its time for some cams.

it is real twitchy. i haven't tried straping the front. biggerisbetter and roostin did. they didn't say it was hard to drive. i have to let out of alot of passes due to steering problems. i'm going to race this weekend with a broke leg.

OH!! good lord!!! Are you crazy!!!LOL.

Dude I'm sorry , I'll do better next time! You don't have to race with a broken leg to show me how to race!LOL.

Rockey, I tied my front and it took off a tenth. The handlng isn't that bad at 70. But at 85mph(like DSmike) its WAY SCARY!

Steve, how on earth are you going to STOP???? I think the pain killers are working TOO WELL!LOL.

Thanks. My best 60ft of the night was a .516 with the rest scattered and 1 redlight. I usually dont pay attention to my RT unless its on a .400 Protree. Heads up racing is where its at!.
