hey my friend is getting a used 1996 honda 300ex to compete with my new 2003 yamaha blaster. I'm not sure who will win if they are both stock!! please respond with your opinion!!

 

it's pretty close.you will prabably win over the older model.

 

blaster will kicks it butt i think. my friend has a 300ex, and its alright, but the blasters are better.

 

my 300ex doesn't do bad against blasters.they just have better top speed.

 

stock for stock there pretty close but it you both put a pipe on it the blaster will win in a drag no problem if your a decent rider

 

well stock....who cares, im sure if you trick out a blaster, it will waste a 300ex, infact ive seen it.

 

yeah in a drag the Blaster will win, but throw in a couple turns and its bye bye Blaster.

 

then trow in pipes and the blaster will have way more power

 

a blaster is no better than a 300ex,


through out a race a 300 can hang until
very,very,very TOP END.


i've had little trouble beating blasters on a track..


not saying i can beat any blaster,
i havent ran any that are really worked over,

just a few piped ones.

 

Put it this way:

If the race involves any sort of turns and the race is still stock vs stock: the 300ex will win
If the race is all out strait line speed shifting drag: Blaster will win
