53mph on the odo (which is probably NOT correct) on a long straight dirt road. Got up to 45 pretty quick but crawled those last few MPH.

Most of my riding occurs at or below 20mph so I don't need the speed.

02 500i - indicated 55 on the speedo, don't know how accurate it was. cat was very stable at that speed, but the engine was not a happy camper. Sounded very strained.

A friend of mine who is a police officer hit me with radar,I was doing 55mph on a flat paved road. The majority of my riding is done under 20 though.

I got my 02 AC 300 4*4 up to 40 mph before the flat ended, not that I'm looking for speed, just the male thing to find out how fast you can go. Anything over 20 mph on the trails I ride is suicide anyway.

I've had the speedo on my old 99 500 up to 60 with the stock tires (26" Titan 495s= suck). As far as GPS goes, 53 was the best I ever got on flat pavement. 57 on the GPS once on a pretty good downhill, but that doesn't really count.
