First Impressions of Blaze
#1
Well I finally got a chance to make the 622 mile trek to Virginia this past weekend to pick up the Blaze. It was a long drive, but my buddies Simon and Merle made the trip exciting to say the least.
I have only ridden her maybe 10 minutes and mostly in the open fields around my house. But from the short rides I can tell it is going to be an awesome quad. I am planning to get out to our motorcycle club grounds this week for the real test, but I know it is going to kick A$$! It is noisy as hell at idle, but besides that it is as smooth as silk and feels so much more managable than the Raptor. I will let you guys know when I get it out in the woods later this week.
If anybody is looking for a killer deal on a new Cannondale give Bob @ Bob's Auto & ATV a call 434-946-5167. Bob was great to deal with and is located just south of Amherst, VA. He has a few '02 Cannibals, and an '03 Cannibal SE. He can order you whatever you want and I guarantee you won't regret it, I drove over 1200 miles to pick mine up. Tell him Brent sent you, and no I am not getting paid to advertise for him, he was just a nice guy to deal with and gave me a hell of deal.

Did Bob seem to be knowledgeable about the Cannondales? How do you think he would be at servicing them?
He is as close as any other dealer to me so I may have to check him out next time I need service.
BTW: did you find anything fun to do in VA this weekend?

JayBR: Bob seemed to know his stuff as far as the questions that I asked him. He doesn't have a real big shop and I think he has only one Mechanic, but he had completed all the updates and service bullitins to the blaze and the other quads that he has sold. Give him a call and talk to him, he will tell you what he can or can't do.
As far as doing anything, we pretty much drove all weekend. We got to Amherst about 12:30 and were back on the road again by 1:30. Drove back to the Ohio/W.V. border, Marietta, and stopped for the night. It definitely looked like you guys have some great places to ride, the damn curves and hills about killed the wives Expedition.

I'll give him a call, I think I'll probably take the Speed in for valve adjustments sometime this fall/winter while I'm busy hunting and not riding. I've done everything else myself, but I really don't want to drop the motor.
There are some public trails in the parks up in the mountains but I haven't ridden any of them yet. You stayed in the mountains the whole way down, it's alot flatter where I am.
