i'm planning to buy an atv in bout 2 weeks...but im confused between the z400 shee and 400ex.....i live rite next to the dunes...so i guess that where i'm gonna b usin it...
also...the banshee is the only atv i can buy here....the others have to be imported.....BTW....i dont like the shee lights..so my first choice rite now is the Z400....can neone tell me prices too. ..?

If I lived next to the dunes I would own a Banshee no question about it. The Z400 would be my next choice or a Raptor. The 400EX is a great quad but you will need every power advantage you can get in the sand. I have seen everything from 4999.00 to 5699.00 on the Z400. The Banshee lists for 5999.00 but I have no idea what they are selling for. The Bombardier is also a good dune quad and the Polaris Predator maybe who knows.

Dude, you live next to the dunes, the Banshee is readily available and the others are not. GET THE BANSHEE.

The 400s are nice trail machines but the Banshee rules the dunes - the others are not at home there.

Where do you live???

 

The dunes are where the moded banshee's rule and the rest fall behind.
the z and ex are great trail and racing quads however they lack power in the dunes
you need lots of hp in the dunes cause they suck a lot of power out of your machine
if u absultly don't want to go with the shee get a raptor but 2-strokes make more power then 4-strokes with mods

If you know how to drive a 2 stroke (I don't) then get the Banshee.

I have a Z and it responds to cheap mods ($32) and can slaughter a 400ex with typical price mods (slip on, K&amp;N, rejet, outwears). Just search for &quot;corpsie&quot; in the Suzuki group and you'll see what I've done.

Remember, Kawasaki offers a Z (called the KFX400, I think) so you have 3 or 4 choices of plastic colors

 

First of all if you live right next to the Dunes, then you are what the French call &quot;A Lucky Bastard&quot; I have an EX and Love It. Although I just got my a$$ handed to me by a pair of z400 on comp Hill. The dunes belong to the banshee. You can pump up you 4 strokes all day and there will be a banshee out there more than happy to hand you a beating.... Go with the Banshee my friend and I'll let you tag me once or twice on my EX before I go and get a MOD sled and kick your A$$ proper. HAve you fellas seen a MOD MT Sled haul *** up comp hill...
