Where can I get a Rev Limiter for my ds650
#1
I just bought a new 2003 DS 650 and I noticed that the Rev limiter is set kinda Low. Where can i get an aftermarket rev limiter to take it up a 1000 rpm or more?

Keep in mind that it totally gets rid of the rev limiter all together. Most guys say you should get a tach with it, but you should be able to tell at what RPM's you need to shift at. However the tach is a nice addition.

The alba and graidon cdi's still have a limit, jast higher, and you could also buy a bmw f650 cdi, wich gives you about 1500 rpm's or so, and it MUCH cheaper then the others....

I know the ron woods is $298 and i believe the bmw f650 is $350, i have been looking around and ron woods is the best. the only choice i have left is to get the cdi for the quad or the cdi for the truck for $ that will give me 60 more ponies cause i only got enough $$$ for one. wich would u get first?

seems on the stock bikes it is hard to over rev them, my wife doesn't know what that is and would try and rev to 20,000 if the engine would do it and she has never had a problem. so i would recommend the rwr cdi the price is good, and the service is great. tvi is getting some new cdi boxs that are adjustable so you might want to wait there might be some used non adjustable ones soon. but they are sweet you wont be soory you spent the money on one.
