Default Sand Tires and Gearing?

Right now Im running 20x10x10 10 paddle haulers. Im getting killed by everything on the dunes. I figured I probably need taller tires. I want to run 22x12x10 10 paddle extreme haulers. Is this over kill for my bike? I plan on adding a carb. mount filter and doing some port and polish work. What tooth sprocket should I use with the 22 inch tire?

Go with 22X11X10 8 paddles the Extreme haulers the 10's are robbing you of power, for gearing change the front to a 15 for a start

try 15-43 in the sand use your 20" i promise some raptors will be watching you. this gearing works well with the 22" also. just start in second. i did have to get a new chain seems like 112 link

Use the 9-paddles if you are going to do some minor mods. You don't want 10's or 8's. Go with the 15/43 combo. And the 22" extremes.

big ds you will want to jet up when you go to the carb mount filter, another thing i've noticed is if your bike is stock, and you want to be in the race you will want to run people simlar in size. kills me when my 30lb. lighter brother pulls away from me. you might consider a end cap mod, it works fair and it gets more raptors to the line with you kind of like cheese on a mouse trap. don't worry about if they have a pipe, they probably didn't jet both carbs right, then who would when you have to take your machine half apart to jet. good luck and if that doesn't work get nos demon ds said that made a large change, and it seems it is like $600 at alba or woods.

I have 10 paddle haulers, 20", and wish I wouldn't have got 10 paddles - its too much.
Going to sell them.
