Hey larry I thought about roughing it to but I just don't know I got pretty spoiled! LOL It would be cheaper and faster for me to just throw the Quad in the back of the truck and haul *** though. But I think I will still bring it anyway, so you guys are more than welcome to stay with me. Are you going to Glamis the next weekend?

 

Hey Tony, cool we may just do that, Thanks. And yes we are going to Glamis the following weekend. Prolly gonna be between mile 7 and 10 in the wash not sure yet. My bro, Dave was told that, that area is usually not insane like some of the others. Is that what you've herd as well?

 

I've heard that whole place is a Mad House! But it should still be a lot of fun. I am just worried about pulling in there at Midnight and not finding anywhere to park. How early are you guy's going down there?

 

For sure we should be at glamis by 9 Sat. morning. Depending on what is going on at work at that time i might take friday off and go friday late morning and be there by noon or 1.
Im hoping to get my TM45 kit from Ron Woods Monday or Tue. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] so i should have a little more power to play with next weekend at dumont.
Any tips for the install or things to prpare for. I got the carb mount filter as well. Herd that it's worth another 3 ponies.

 

Make sure Elliot sends the other spring with that carb sometimes he forgets to. No real big things to do, just slap it on, it is already jetted perfect for Glamis and Dumont. Don't get to despondent about the blah when you wack the throttle it is normal, you have to roll in on the throttle. We can tinker with it this weekend at Dumont if we need to. What time are you planning on being at Dumont? There is a good chance I may not bring my trailer though, I am still trying to make up my mind on that one. I may just go stay at my folks Saturday evening and come back early Sunday morning and ride until about 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. I will probably drive up early Saturday morning. If you could get to Glamis early that Friday that would be awesome, maybe you could save us a spot. Let me know. Thanks T.

 

We are going to be leaving for Glamis Nov 1 early in the morning. We'll be staying in the Flats. I'm not real sure where that's at my Bro-in-law is driving. There should be 3 Ds's in my group. I can try and save you guys some spots if you want to stay by us.

 

Im planning on leaving between 5 and 6 sat morning. So we should be there by 9 or 10. Washrdskin prolly won't make it again though. He put a new cam in his raptor and while breaking it in he broke it. Somehow or another the pin for decompression mechinism stuck out to far and sheard off. 3 to 5 days for the replacement parts.
Im just gonna rough it for sure this time. May stay a little longer on Sunday this time too.

Im not sure where the flats are either. But Im sure we can find out. That way we can hook up and hit the dunes. This will only be my second time at glamis so I think we'll stick with the wash for this trip though.

 

I'll try and get better directions from my bro and let you guys know.
