My best friend put that exhaust on (slip on) and man does he really like it. It is very nice looking on his new 01 DS650 and it is not very loud either. His DS650 has gotten better in low and mide range with no loss at the high end. He really likes that is not maint. and is not too musch louder than stock. He said if he had it to do again he would buy this exhaust again. I pretty sure he has stock jetting as well. If anything he went a little bigger on the main jet.

I like the way it looks. Nice polished finish and it does sound cool. I rode it for a few miles and it is not very loud at all compared to other exhausts on other big bores that ride at our club.

I emailed them and got the specs for a Warrior/Wolverine pipe, 280 for a polished stainless slip on, bafflded like stock, no repacking ever, about 2hp with a broader low and midrange increase, and only 91-92 db, not much more than stock. The muffler is seamless, looks like chrome, construction looks top notch.

I have two MBRP full systems on Raptors. One is the standard Power-Tech 4 system and the other is a custom larger head pipe and full bore silencer I had them make for me and now they are a stock item. The standard one works great with no mods and on my ported 686 Raptor. The other one was intended for motors with more mods and 686 and up but also works great on my mild 686. The standard system is not loud but has a rich great sound. The Big system sounds great too and is still not as loud as a lot of other systems. Both systems a like quite power. MBRP at this time only makes a silencer for the DS because they have not had the demand for a full system. The packing free system is what caught my eye and also no screws or rivets to come loose and leak. The finish on the polshed T-304 Stainless is great. I have pics of both systems, if anybody is interested send me an email address.

I ran there full system all week end on my built rappy. (1 1/2 inch head pipes) The pipe is open but not loud like most. 1st rate constuction all the way around. I have had a gyrt, pro curcit t-4, trinity, yoshi and few others on my quad at one time or another. This mbrp ranks up there with the yoshi in my opinion as being the best for a rappy. Shoot raptorrc a pm as i know he has the complete catalog for the pipes. I saw it the other day when i got this pipe out of his garage.

12k in quad and i have no exhaust pipe

wyd, do u think you could get us some picts of this exhaust on ur friends machine, i was looking at the pipe when it first came out but wasn't sure if it would b loud or not, it looks really nice but the only thing i noticed is the different colour on the welds for the bracket, and i also noticed that it came with a sticker instead of some times of metal badge like all others have,

I would take pictures of my friends bur none of us own a digital camera (can you believe that). It does have a sticker for the pipe and he did put it on and so far it is staying on his pipe just fine. The welds are very nice and the overall quality is as good as any pipe I have seen.

So far he has no problems with the swingarm since it uses the stock header pipe. The slip on has no rubbing or hitting anywhere at this time. He researched for about a month before he bought it and after making numerous calls to many companies that make exhausts for the DS650 he said that they were very helpful and one of the best manufacturers he has talked with. They seemed to have alot of knowledge. Their car exhausts are one of the better systems out on the market.
